I know that my posts on this blog are few and far between, but I'm trying to change things. One of the interesting aspects of maintaining a blog is that you can see where your audience hail from and what method they used to find your blog. I've had a number of visitors from Russia and Sweden, but unfortunately no comments. I get very few comments.
This is an all out appeal. If you stop by, feel free to just say hello or leave a note, even if it's not in English. I really appreciate them! Perhaps we can actually help each other in some small way, whether it's related to running or something else.
Thanks,
Ken
Glad to see a post from you! I wanted to comment earlier but noticed you hadn't updated recently. Finding the time can be difficult, as I am coming to find out while balancing so many different things. But it's so nice to know we have this avenue to share our thoughts, stories and ideas. I have decided to just make myself sit down once a week and write for at least 20-30 minutes. After neglecting to write more in a journal over the last several years, I know I will end up regretting it if I don't. :) Looking forward to reading more about your training. Happy trails!
ReplyDeleteThanks Nicole. I agree that blogging is a good way to share. I plan on sharing more of what I'm doing running-wise. Lately I'm helping my friend train for Mount Washington this June. It's only one hill, 7.5 miles, but it's up quite a few feet up! Ha! It's not easy trying to find terrain to somewhat duplicate this course in training.
DeleteOnce a week for 30 minutes to write doesn't seem like a lot, right? But it can be hard to do. I write for children. I also write environmental and science related stuff. Good luck with your writing.
I do stop in every now and then saying hello. Spending most days on face book now.
ReplyDeleteHi Ken! I laughed out loud at the title of this post! I have the same thing with my blog - a decent amount of traffic but no comments! Same with my FB page! Just want to let you know you aren't alone. I've been a little behind on blogging myself. I'm a teacher so I do a lot more of it over the summer. Just a couple more weeks! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Amanda! I wrote the post with a grin on my face, really. Thanks for stopping by. I didn't remember that you're a teacher. I hope the last several weeks go by fast for you. I'm a bit of a streaking blogger. Wait, I don't actually mean streaking. You know what I mean.
